What's one book that you've read because of me? 📚 I'm really curious. Like really really curious. I'm always raving about all sorts of books and technically 99% are books that I picked up because I saw them first on Bookstagram, but I'm always wondering :)) what books are people picking up because of me? 📚 In other news, look at the cute wooden signs that @bookish_signs #gifted to me. What's something that pisses you off? 📚 The bookshop where I used to write changed its policy and now they are super strict when it comes to food/drinks that you bring from outside and it saddens me because if I am to stay here 10 hours per day I can't only buy their stuff because I'd go broke. Okok, I understand the policy, I'm not bitc*ing about capitalism, but I would like to find a nice place where I could stay and write and eat without being forced to buy only from them. I would buy from them to be nice, but not all the food and drinks that I need for a whole day. There's a cafe in my city where you only pay the time that you spend there – it was like $2 per hour last time when I went there, but that means $20 per day and that means $100 per 5 days and it adds up, man. Caption this pic. Make it funny. My favs will get a shoutout. 📚 Sometimes I ask myself why do I read. Why do I love it so much. Why do I feel the need to stare at symbols on paper and hallucinate. If you erase the book from the image of someone reading, what's left is a human standing motionless, his eyes moving constantly from left to right. Idk man, weird. It's not about getting more clever or learning how to use words better. That comes after. The main reason is the story. When I went to Law School I thought it would be easy peasy because I knew I liked reading. But when a book doesn't offer me a story I stop enjoying reading. But why do I feel the need to know more stories than the real world has to offer? 📚 Because that's how it is :)) but sometimes I'm thinking about it and I'm thinking it's so weird. Like when you're looking at a random word that suddenly looks and feels strange. I had a moment like this recently with GET. GET. On a scale from 1 to 10, how f***ed would you be if you'd suddenly wake up inside the book that you're reading? 📚 I wanted to post for the past 2 days, but I went out on Friday (which always comes as a surprise for me) and on Saturday I had a 4.5 hours long phone conversation that got me out of a bad mood. I still have no laptop :)) and I'm halfway through The Eye of The World and I realise this is not sustainable. I have to read something else between the WOT books or else I'll get tired of it, not because it's not good (it is), but because at this pace I'll finish the series in June and won't read anything else for the first half of 2019. 📚 Anyway, I'm super unproductive lately and it's killing me. Gotta go back on the track. And I failed giving up coffee (again), because I CAN'T. I was feeling terrible and I wasn't productive! 📚 Meanwhile, we got the second snow of the year.
